Illustration Friday: Choose

In Édouard Manet's painting, 'Un Bar aux Folies-Bergère,' the mirror is not a faithful reflection of the barmaid. The question is not so much "is it a mirror?", but why did Manet choose to present us with a logically impossible reflection? The original painting is such an iconic masterpiece is that it always invokes passionate debate.
