Wallis, Wallace, Waleis, Welsh, etc.
Wallis - derived from the Anglo-Norman waleis, meaning "Welsh", derived from the Old English wealh, meaning "foreign". Why, incidentally, does Wallis have such an odd first name? Because, she chose to use her second forename instead of her first one. That was Bessie - no name for a femme fatale. This is another Moleskine & Adobe Photoshop collage illustration experiment.
