Handmade Moleskine Bookmarks

From time to time, I make thematic bookmarks for my Moleskines. This particular bookmark was made for the Medieval Miscellany sketchbook (see previous post for sample illustrations). It is a handmade paper-mache book attached to an elastic band with vintage typewriter keys. The front has a metal slide holder with the title card underneath. The little book opens up to a collage of a 3-D fairytale scene inside. The collage includes a silver celtic knot charm, a frog prince charm, silver alphabet beads, and an original colored pencil illustration in the background.
