This listing is for a custom illustrated map that can be used as a save the date card, for a wedding invitation insert, or just an event or occasion handout.

The cost is for the art creation fee and email delivery of a final digital raster file that is print-ready and web-ready. You will be able to use the map on a website and or with a professional printer if you are using in mailed invitations. It will be high resolution enough to be able to print and frame.

Custom illustrated map base designs start at $700.00. The price varies based on the number of building and icons options requested.

WHAT DO YOU GET?

  • 300dpi digital raster .jpg file of the map for CMYK printing purposes

  • 72dpi digital raster .jpg file of the map for RGB web purposes

  • Header title to include desired text (names, location, dates, hashtag, etc.)

  • Highways, streets, and roads within the area you wish to have included

  • 3, 5, or 7 landmark buildings drawn and labeled on the map (select # of elements needed when placing item in your cart) (the buildings could be a church, house, restaurant, museum, lighthouse, etc.)

  • 3, 5, or 7 icons drawn and labeled on the map (select # of elements needed when placing item in your cart) (the icons could be a flag, a boat, a bird, a bike, trees, a car, etc.)

  • Water elements

  • Compass

  • 2 Review Sessions where we discuss a maximum of 2 Rounds of Revisions to make any changes prior to sending the final digital file

INITIAL PHONE CONSULTATION (30 minute call to discuss the following map details):

  • City or location of map

  • Text for header title

  • Date of event (if applicable)

  • Buildings, locations, street names, water names, and icons that you would like to be featured on your map. (please include exact addresses if they are not easily found on google maps)

  • Pick 3 to 5 colors for the map color palette

  • Choose size of your map (typical sizes are 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, 8.5x11)

  • Schedule of events or itinerary if you would like this to be included as an inset.

  • Date that you need final digital file delivered. We will discuss timeline and any additional customizations not listed above and estimate of extra costs.

DIGITAL MAP FILE DELIVERY:

  • Hi-resolution CMYK Adobe Photoshop raster for printing purposes (.jpg, .eps).

  • Lo-resolution RGB Adobe Photoshop raster for web (.png, .jpg).

PAYMENT:

All payments are made to Happy Monday via PayPal. Please note that once a project scope has been approved and work has commenced, the fees are final and non-refundable, so we encourage you to ask all questions that you might have before purchasing and work begins.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE:

At the outset of the project, we will create a tentative timeline for illustration, feedback, and approvals. Typically, the timeline is 2 weeks for initial draft and an additional 2 weeks for 2 revision rounds and approval. Once project is requested, we’ll determine a more specific timeline to ensure we can deliver on the date that you need it.

OTHER NOTES

  • Additional elements may be added to this package for an additional cost

  • The original layered vector or PSD artwork is not included in this cost.

  • These maps will not be 100% navigational as they are meant to simply give a fun overview of your location or event. Your guests will still need to determine exact locations via GPS.
